Fragmented Identities Projection. Audiovisual Narrative Project
Abstract
This article presents an investigation into an audiovisual rhetorical narrative through object-based videomapping, providing intersubjective aesthetic sensibility with concepts that lead us to reflect, know, and understand the various social problems affecting the individual in the digital age, the information and communication society, defined by Zygmunt Bauman (2017) as "liquid modernity," and by Byung-Chul Han (2021) as the transition from "the Thing to the No-thing.” The topic's approach starts from the various problems based on the construction of identity, which is influenced by the dominant technological culture and approached from a critical and creative paradigm. To this end, a research is proposed based on artistic practice as the foundation for the construction of our knowledge. An epistemological landscape is provided, filled with symbolism through the semiotics of different artistic languages that reflect the various layers of our reality. The critique and use of the dominant communication technologies in this project stem from a reaction that promotes different discourses, revealing the layers of reality that are silenced or less visible.
