Abstract

Video work, shown in a circular manner (in a loop). It's about the recording of an action on a sculptural piece, made in wax with the word ACTION. The work begins its "cremation", as a multiple candle until its total disappearance (accelerated camera or time-lapse), which then reappears from its ashes until it is formed and completed again. It's a metaphor visual of life itself, of the resurgence, like a phoenix, which often touches us experience throughout our existence. This piece has been exposed in individual paths at the Weber-Lutgen Gallery in Seville (“Game Over”, 2018) and at the CHINA CHENGDU International Contemporary Art Fair INTERNATIONAL ARTWORK EXPO (Republic of China, 2015). Presented at the I INTERNATIONAL VIRTUAL CONGRESS CIVARTES 2020.
