Abstract

This essay talks about the special relationship that I personally have with paper and pencil when it comes to approaching a new creation. Specifically, I will focus on the sketch as a way of direct and spontaneous expression. The implicit quality of being / be unfinished of the sketch defines the origin of my work and slightly indicates the way towards a world lived by all kinds of characters. With this essay I show a selection of sketched portraits of sensations that have been hidden in my notebooks from 2012 to the present
